WHAT IS KAQUN?

Otto Warburg  (October 8, 1883 – August 1, 1970), son of physicist Emil Warburg, was a Germanphysiologist, medical doctor and Nobel laureate. Warburg was one of the 20th century's leading biochemists.[1] He won the Nobel Prize of 1931. In total, he was nominated an unprecedented three times for the Nobel prize for three separate achievements.

While working at the Marine Biological Station, Warburg performed research on oxygen consumption in sea urchin eggs after fertilization, and proved that upon fertilization, the rate of respiration increases by as much as sixfold. His experiments also proved iron is essential for the development of the larval stage.

Warburg investigated the metabolism of tumors and the respiration of cells, particularly cancer cells, and in 1931 was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology for his "discovery of the nature and mode of action of the respiratory enzyme."[2] The award came after receiving 46 nominations over a period of nine years beginning in 1923, 13 of which were submitted in 1931, the year he won the prize.

Warburg Hypothesis:

In 1924, Warburg hypothesized that cancer, malignant growth, and tumor growth are caused by tumor cells mainly generating energy (as e.g. adenosine triphosphate / ATP) by nonoxidative breakdown of glucose (a process called glycolysis) and the subsequent recycling of the metabolite NADH back to its oxidized form, for reuse in the glycolytic cycle to complete the process (known as fermentation, or anaerobic respiration). This is in contrast to "healthy" cells, which mainly generate energy from oxidative breakdown of pyruvate. Pyruvate is an end product of glycolysis, and is oxidized within the mitochondria. Hence, and according to Warburg, cancer should be interpreted as a mitochondrial dysfunction. (Wikipedia)

„...Cancer, above all other diseases, has countless secondary causes. But, even for cancer, there is only one prime cause. Summarized in a few words, the prime cause of cancer is the replacement of the respiration of oxygen in normal body cells by a fermentation of sugar...”

The first steps of the KAQUN therapy...

KAQUN water, unique in its nature, was born as a result of research work of twenty years. This drinking water made with a special procedure - The Kaqun TechnologyTM. The first device able to bind the active oxygen in pure water was made in 1981. After that twenty years of research work and development followed when the high oxygen content KAQUN water could come into the consumer market.

The KAQUN bath water is produced with the same technology after the special treatment, filtering of the local pipeline water.

In Hungary the first KAQUN Club opened in 2002 in DobogókÅ‘, whose aim is to improve the general physical condition. Since then in Hungary KAQUN bath clubs were built in several places (in Miskolc, Veszprém, Hévíz, Kerepes) and in two locations in Budapest.

KAQUN water is the only (currently known) water that has undergone 10+ years of clinical and laboratory research carried out on both healthy volunteers and those with health challenges, as well as animal studies.

KAQUN water represents an absolutely unique development in water chemistry that is able to prevent hypoxia (the lack of oxygen in the body) without side-effects, due to its highly-bound oxygen content. Kaqun water is created by a specific treatment process that enables substantially increased absorption effects in the body. As a result of KAQUN technology, oxygen has been made into a stabilized form with concentrations of 18-25 mg per liter.

There are no chemicals or toxic materials used in the production of KAQUN, and the oxygen is derived from the water itself; -not from an outside source.

There are two forms KAQUN water is delivered to the body: through the skin (KAQUN baths) and by drinking a more mild form of the KAQUN water (KAQUN drinking water). KAQUN has been shown to reduce mental and physical tiredness, since it replenishes oxygen to the cellular environment within a short period of time.

Our Research

In January 2009 the Kaqun Hungária Kft. commissioned the Cytogenetics and Immunology Department of the National Chemical Safety Institute to examine the immunological effect of the KAQUN water. You can read about the scientific research of the KAQUN water under the menu item Kaqun Studies.

KAQUN water is not your typical mineral water. In fact it possesses low mineral concentration, but has undergone first a purification process. By way of the hyper-oxygenation process of KAQUN, regular consumption has been shown to detoxify, refresh, energize, as well as increasing performance qualities. KAQUN enhances the quality of life.
